Summary

Brunswick's Lodge of the Knights of Pythias. Possibly in the 20s? Clarence Daniel Shewbridge is on the right in the front.

This group ran the putt-putt golf course on West Potomac Street and may have had their lodge at the house on the corner of W. Potomac and N. Virginia Avenue, which is one of the 2 earliest buildings in Brunswick, dating to the late 18th century.

Smoketown History (Brunswick, Md.) In researching the K of P of Brunswick I found out the Knights of Pythias Lodge 122 was founded on October 24, 1892. I know it was still in existence in 1944 due to an obituary I found. Will keep you updated on any other information I discover. Can anyone else help me out with the history of the K of P?... Nancy
