Commenting on this photo, Reuben Moss wrote:

"An overhead view of town, from the back cover of the Bridge Dedication Program. At the top where the high school now stands, E.W. Sheer Stadium is visible, on High School Hill all that can be seen are the High School and the old umbrella factory (now the Brunswick Woodworking shop surrounded by many residences, my home being one of them). The old bridge can be seen beside the new one, the height difference plainly obvious. The open strip shows the evidence of the airfield that once stood where the camp ground now is."
