Summary
A group photo outside Frank Alder's store on Middle Street in the "town between the tracks", circa 1895. It was also known as known as F.D. Alder's Bargain House!.
In addition to the usual offerings of a general store, Alder's carried jewelry and confections. Railroad watches were a specialty. A 1924 directory listed the store's location as 5 W. Potomac Street after the business changed hands.
