Brunswick's rambling Bill Dunn at the Brunswick YMCA. This was on the lower back porch of the Y outside the locker room area.

According to Jim Castle, "Bill knew more about the railroad than the bosses did..."

Karen Cornelius recounts a story from Roma Hebb, daughter of Mayor Jim Cummings, that "when her father was Yard Master, he would often find Bill Dunn to help locate a lost car."

(Photo courtesy of the Castle Collection) Comment from Phil Lowery: I would ride my bike down the gravel behind the YMCA and walk up the large stairs and go in the back door of the YMCA. I would get candy out of the machine or walk over to the kitchen to buy a slice of cherry pie. Yonnie Longerbeam worked the restaurant side. On the way back from the YMCA if he was there I would stop by the train station to see if Jelly Cole was sitting on the mail cart playing his harmonica. Jelly sure could play a harmonica. He played the sounds of a train rolling down the track. I got a maple tree stick on my bottom when I got home from being down the train station area.
