Summary

Local public servants gone too soon.

Brunswick Councilman G. David Green accompanied Maryland 6th District Congressman Goodloe E. Byron to the museum on West Potomac Street in March, 1978. Congressman Byron came over to look at the model railroad exhibit and see if one of his engines would run on the track.

Rep. Byron died suddenly that year at age 48 from a heart attack while on a training run for the JFK 50-mile marathon on the C&O Canal. Councilman Green was a rising star in Frederick County politics who tragically passed away in the 1990s.

We invite everybody to chime in with stories about David and Goodloe.
