W Frank Mathers: Donald was without a doubt a mover, a shaker and a facilitator par excellence. Died while sitting at the organ in his church during a Christmas service. I would have wished to attend the funeral excepting I was not made aware of his demise until a few weeks after it occurred.

Not only was Donald the inspiration that set me to work designing the Brunswick Foundation Museum's model railroad and artifact display areas, he also work closely with me in my attempt to create a Brunswick Park recreation center using two former passenger cars and also in my efforts to locate the Chesapeake and Allegheny Live Steamers to the Brunswick Campgrounds along the Potomac river.

If my memory serves me rightly, Donald was also at one time the town clerk of the City of Brunswick
