Karen Cornelius told me that in the Fifties, there used to be a Coca-Cola vending machine in the undercroft where the kids used to get sodas after roller skating on the flat part of A Street between the churches. In those days, the church was kept unlocked...Peter Wenner

Nicole Shewbridge Philpott: Many, many childhood memories of this Church!! Sunday school, Christmas plays, midnight masses, spaghetti dinners, i was baptized here and spent many services snuggled under my Granny's arm singing hymns and placing money given by my Grandad into the offering plate
