Summary
Mr. & Mrs. George Washington Wenner Sr. on the steps of Kaplon's in the 1950s.
In addition to his long time position as engineer for B&O flagships, the National and Capitol Limited, G.W. Wenner occupies a place in Brunswick baseball lore. Legend has it he once hit a prodigious home run on to the tracks over Wenner Field in New Addition that landed in a box car and traveled west to Cumberland or Ohio!
