Pete Cheney at his garage on Ninth Ave across the street from the old New York Hill Methodist Church where Park Ave intersects. From the Myer Kaplon Photo Collection at the Brunswick Community Library,

From Facebook: Mickey Lynn: It is Pete and it was on Ninth Ave across the street from where Park Ave intersects. There is a house there now. Growing up I remember the dozens of junk cars stored behind the garage that we used to play in until Pete would run us off. He was a really good hearted person! June 28, 2014

Smoketown History: I used to go over to play with Boogie Hawes a lot next to the church and can picture it now. Wish i'd known about the junked cars! June 28, 2014

Michael Cullen We used to live on East E Street about a block from Petes. If my memory is correct he lived in a trailer next to the garage there at the junkyard. The Haller's and Lewis's and my brother, we used to play in the junkyard when Pete wasn't around
