Smoketown History (Brunswick, Md.) Solid Rock Assembly of God Church in the foreground.

Art Reid: The interesting thing about Solid Rock A/G is that it is built on a flood plain so the sanctuary/ worship space is on the second floor instead of ground level like most churches

Jody Brumage: The church on the upper hill, today used by a Baptist congregation, was originally built in 1912 as Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, a chapel of St. Paul's Parish. The church is built in Gothic Revival style and is actually quite similar in layout to historic St. Mark's Church in Petersville
