Summary

This 1982 BHS yearbook photo shows school bus drivers for the Brunswick School District. The district includes Brunswick, Jefferson, Point of Rocks, and Knoxville, as well as the many roads connecting these towns.

Many of the drivers picked up and drove students not only to the high school and middle school (at the time the high and middle schools occupied the same building) but also to the elementary schools in the morning and afternoon. Additionally, drivers ferried school athletes to afternoon competitions and games, including night games. Occasionally they took students on field trips.

Terry Miller: I Had Bud Harrison I lived in Knoxville. so we traveled Mt. Road. I remember on a very bad snowy day as we got to the bottom of Mt. Road Mr. Harrison had tears in his eyes. Now that I'm older I know why, he was thankfull to have his kids SAFELY of the curvy hilly road.
