Summary
These are The Shades, who were arguably the most famous band ever to come out of Frederick in the 60s.
Demetri Callas was the leader and guitarist. Demetri later went on to play with Ronnie Dove, The Bill Black Combo, Frankie Vallie & The Four Seasons, The Bad Boys later (Flavor)...and the last band played with in Maryland...Demetri & The Flashbacks.
Also in the 3rd pic is Mike Stup...who later went on to form Damion & The Classics.

H Walker Smith: The Shades were formed from The Playboys. They included Pete Storm on drums and D. Cramer on guitar. Demetri went by "Penny" at the time but doesn't like that name now.
