Summary

Brunswick Elementary School safety patrol marching in the Veterans Day parade in 1962. Recognize anyone? These kids were in the safety patrol, who were usually 6th graders.

The teachers are Mr. Wayne Bruchey on the left of the group and Mr. Ralph Dyer on the right. Mr. Bruchey told us that he and Mr. Dyer had drilled the students before the parade on how to march.

Dorothy M. Van Steinburg: Dicky Longerbeam is on the left holding the banner. Then on the right of him (first row) could be Patty Buracker in white sweater, then Loudell Lowry in dark clothes, then Mary Wenner in dark clothes (Class of 1969).
