Summary

A Brunswick Veterans' Day Parade--maybe late 1940s/early ‘50s in post WWII era? According to knowledgeable veterans, the hats with flaps that the honor guard were wearing were what soldiers wore when dressed for the heat in the desert during the North African conflict.

This was before People's Home & Auto built out the space where you see the BF Goodrich ad sign on the wall.

Also notable on the northside of E.Potomac Street are Darr's Tavern under the beer sign, Coffman & Fisher, otherwise known as "The Lace Store" and Ephraim's Liquors. The store on the square corner might have been pre-S.N. Katz jewelers.

Note the Horine's clock in the upper right. Who remembers it?
