Gentlemen; The home of mine in Berlin which is claimed by you I have occupied ever since the canal has been made. in the very of the canal.

My mothers house was

Charles B. Fisk and Wm. Egan told my

mother if she would leave her house that they would build her another, which they never did.

The old house on the bank of the

canal owned by Mrs. Lowery who afterwards married M. Mink, We occupied and repaired by permission of said Mink and have held and now hold the said premises. Very Respectfully yours Margarett Rench State of Maryland Frederick County, to wit: On the first day of august in the year eighteen hundred and sixty four before me the subscriber a justice of the peace in and for said county personally appeared Margarett Rench and made oath on the Holy Bible of almighty god that the above statement is true as set forth. Sworn before Thomas Motes, J.P. Mr. Brengle I wish you to lay this before the board and let me know the results.
