This photo is from 1985-86 and shows the members of the Brunswick Girls Varsity Basketball team.

The BHS Girls Varsity Basketball team had an outstanding season with the team making the state playoffs for the third season in a row.

Leadership was provided by four returning players: Josette Votipka, Holly Morris, Leslie Barlett, and Gaylene Smith.

As always, the team greatly appreciated the support shown by other BHS students and the community at large.

I believe that Gaylene Smith-Gardner still works at

Brunswick and coaches the BHS Varsity Girls Basketball team (2019)!
