{{Information
|description={{en|1=From the Brunswick History Commission website, this interesting short history of the Ebenezer A.M.E. Church was authored by the late Lillie Morris.

Debbie Brawner remembered:
I have a lot of great memories at this church. I lived across from this church. They would have Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny come there for the children. We also played baseball behind that church. I remember all those dinners that they would fix. You could smell that wonderful cooking across the street. My Daddy and I would sit out on the front porch and one of the ladies would bring our dinner to us. When they had revivals they would have busses from end of Wenner's Hill to the other both sides of the street. The Beautiful music and singing coming out of that church was God's way of saying we are all one. Now that is what growing up on Wenner's Hill was all about. Beautiful music and wonderful people. Easter Sunday was a special time I loved to see all the ladies and young girls in their Easter bonnets. No one ever cared about the color of your skin. I sure do miss those days. Today that church is still going strong. I will always cherish those days.
