He was the husband of Shirley Thomas Alban.<br /> <br /> Born March 30, 1933, in Washington, D.C., he was a son of the late Charles and Ethel Haines Alban.<br /> <br /> Mr. Alban retired from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He was a Korean War Navy veteran. He was a Protestant and a member of VFW Post No. 10421 and Steadman-Keenan Post No. 96 of the American Legion, both of Brunswick.<br /> <br /> Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Donald. W. Alban, Jr. and wife Melissa Lynn Ambrose Alban of Frederick; one sister, Joan L. Foote of Oakton, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.<br /> <br /> The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 20, at the John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick. The funeral home will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday.<br /> <br /> Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick. The Rev.
