When we moved to Brunswick in September 1963, we moved into Mr. and Mrs. Strickler's upstairs apartment at One Sixth Avenue. A nicer couple you could never know. I don't remember her working outside her home at that time.
That picture really brings the memories. My husband Wayne making me learn how to put on snow chains when I was 7 months pregnant Mrs. Strickler came out and gave him a tongue lashing. It was something to hear. She was very short and he was so tall.
