The team pictured here was maybe of the greatest town team in Brunswick baseball history from 1909-11.

Amos Kaplon, who was once offered a contract as a pitcher from Calvin Griffith of the original Washington Senators, managed this traveling team which defeated clubs like the Nebraska Indians who commuted to Brunswick on club cars. Eight of Brunswick's players played semi-pro ball over the years.

George (Babe) Wenner reportedly once hit a prodigious home run onto the tracks that landed in a box car and traveled west.

Maybe we can credit the Kaplons for outfitng this team in the fine uniforms these guys were wearing? This is a 1911 team picture:

Jim Dixon: The old saying about Brunswick being a great baseball town, this only goes to prove it over the years . I believe it still holds true today, we do have so great players and teams coming from Good Old Brunswick.
