Today's Brunswick Boy Scout troop can trace its beginnings back to this boys club, which was established by Pastor Martin. A Shell filling station that was later home to Fast Eddie's and The Brunswick Citizen was later constructed on the site.<br />

The B.B.C. was also the precursor to the Brunswick Little League, as it fielded local teams up until 1954 when BRILL was formed.<br />
