Regarding the time period and engines shown here, according to Todd Crone: &amp;quot;The engine to the far left, if I can make out the number right was a Class M, built in 1893 and gone by 1923.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Engine in the center looks real close to a E27 with construction starting in 1905 and most engines lasting into the late 20s/early/mid 30s , some made it longer, but being oil burning headlights, I would put it earlier to turn of century.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
