<title>Pwenner: 1967 news clipping of Gary Carter&#039;s professional signing with the old Washington Senators organization. Hard to tell whether this was from the Frederick News-Post or Blade-Times. A child prodigy Brunswick youth pitcher, he once threw a no-hitter in a Little League Game in 1961.

Gary went on to pitch for 4 years in the old Washington Senators&#039; system from 1967-70. He advanced as high as AAA in 1969.
