New page

== Summary ==
This photo is from 1986-87 and shows the advisor and student members of the Brunswick High National Honor Society.

Founded in 1921 by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, NHS is a nationwide organization for high school students and consists of many chapters in America. Selection is based on the four criteria of scholarship (academic achievement), leadership, service, and character.

The National Honor Society requires some sort of service to the community, school, or other organizations. Time spent working on these projects contributes towards the monthly service hour requirement.
