Nei...</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>== Summary ==<br /> I&#039;m dedicating this posting to 1980 graduate Carl Butler who passed away suddenly awhile back. <br /> At the time Carl was helping neighbors in the Burkittsville community with an event. He joined them later for a celebration where he suddenly collapsed. Neighbors called 911 and rushed to his aid and began CPR but to no avail.”<br /> I and many others can testify to Carl&#039;s character which was one of kindness and caring, who was able to find the good in others. He was a gentle soul who loved art and expressed himself through his paintings and sketches.<br /> Carl brightened up everyone’s day who knew him as a student, a friend, a co-worker and of course as a family member. The world seems a little bit dimmer since he no longer walks among us.<br /> Former BHS English teacher Pam Clark told me this sweet anecdote about Carl in her class room one day.<br /> &quot;He was a sweet kid.
