Summary
Schamel's Self Service market in 1971. It was otherwise known as the "Little Red Hen" in Jefferson due to it's sign signifying the nickname of owner Harry Schamel.
Dad reminded me that the owner Harry Schamel referred to himself as "the little red hen, who lived next door with a married woman."
What's funny about that is the "married woman" was his wife.
Harry's brother Jim Schamel managed the Brunswick bowling allies....Peter Wenner
