Summary
Early Brunswick Schools: Left: 1st segregated elementary school on J Street, which began in a corncrib on the Wenner farm. There was usually one teacher for 1st through 7th grades. Right: Westall Building was the site of the 1st Brunswick High School on E. Potomac St and 6th Ave (below old East End Elementary School). It was opened in 1900 and occupied one room in a commercial building that was used for other businesses.
