Summary
For years, Mrs. Carol S. Smith taught Phys Ed at BHS and was an inspiration to at least 2 generations of girls. This was early in her career in the Spring of 1970. Note the virgin farmland behind her across Route 464 past the football bleachers.

Anne Zumbach: Everyone loved her!! And she was a ground breaker as she was the first female AD in Frederick County. She was the one that started the girls track team at BHS as well.
