Summary

Big snow in the 1930s looking south from the Shewbridge home on North Virginia Avenue toward the old Potomac River bridge entering Brunswick from Loudon County.

See the geometric outlines of the roofs as they slope down from the City Meat Market on the right southwestern corner where the Ambulance Co. now stands.

The Mill is obscured at the bottom left by the old DC Weinbrenner warehouse, but the old lockhouse at Lock 30 appears faintly on the right at the bottom of S. Virginia Avenue.
