Summary

New York Hill United Methodist Church - 9th & Park Avenue.

Land for this church was donated by the B&O Railroad. The cornerstone was laid November 7, 1894 and the front portion was built. An addition was added around 1917. The church eventually merged with First United Methodist on S. Maryland Avenue and became New Hope United Methodist Church. After the merger, the property was sold to Grace Baptist Church.
