Summary

This photo is from 1982 yearbook which was dedicated to Art Teacher Pearl Roberts.

Pearl graduated from the “old” Brunswick High in 1961 and then came back to teach in the “new” BHS. She is among a number of teachers and staff who were once walking the halls as students and now as teachers.

In her classes, Pearl introduced students to art in general, and also how to use various mediums of art as a means of expression of anything from ideas to emotions.

At the same time she was yearbook Advisor, which at times getting students to meet their datelines must have raised her blood pressure. But each year it came out and in the end was the important thing.

On a side note, it all the years I knew her I don’t think I ever heard her yell at a class must less a student.

Pearl Roberts was classy in the classroom and just classy all around.
