Summary
From Andrea Anderson, Pictures taken April 18, 2019 by our District President Brenda Francis. The students did an amazing job reading their essays and presenting their poppy posters. We presented a Blue Star Service Banner to Kelli Dick and her family for her husband's service in the Army. 4 of our Legionaries participated in a flag folding ceremony that the meaning of the folds were read by Connie House and Stacy Poole Custer. A spaghetti dinner was prepared by Lizzy Dizzy, Bob and Jennifer Effler. I even got to present an additional Blue Star Service Banner to another family after the program once we found out that another family had a son serving in the Marines. It was a awesome night! Thanks to everyone who participated.
