Summary
Yet another view up West Potomac St during the Swank Fire. Most of the buildings on the south side are long gone.
There were 2 storefronts under Mrs. Null's porch in the lower left. We're not sure what they were at this time, but in the 1950 & early-60s, Brunswick Florist was on the left and and the M&M Market. on the right.
On the other side of the old Reformed Church in the 1920s was Orrison's Mkt, which later became Roelke's Market. The next storefront was the original Mills Confectionary. It later became home to Wenner's City Meat Market, which was destroyed by fire in 1959. It's now the site of the Ambulance Co.
