Rev. Carmack was such a great pastor. I was baptized in the First Baptist Church. We did not have baptismal robes. We used the Angel costumes that where made from white bedsheets. It was funny if you would have seen when I first walk down the steps into the pool. The material puffed out I looked like the Pillsbury Doughboy.--Rhonda

When i think about Rev. Carmack, I remember hearing about how much he loved fried chicken. There was a great story about how someone in his family or church knew the owner of English's chicken house on the eastern shore and arranged for him to get an all you can eat chicken dinner. Reportedly, he almost put English's out of business that night!....Peter Wenner
