This photo is from 2001-02 and shows the members and coaches of the Varsity Soccer Girls Team.

When I first game to BHS there was no girls’ soccer team. Girls could participate in Track, Tennis, Gymnastics, Field Hockey, Basketball, and Cheerleading.

Although Brunswick no longer has a Field Hockey team, the sports of Softball, Swimming, Volleyball, Golf and Lacrosse have been added to the variety of teams that girls can be on.

Even though the team did not have an overall winning season, many of the players stated it was a good one for improving their skills and forging a tighter bond as a team.
