In front of the Lace Store in the early 1930's, Ephram Liquors was next door. The older building in the rear over the years housed restaurants, dry cleaners and other businesses. In the early 1930's Western Auto opened business which later became Peoples Home and Auto. owners Nat Winters and Irving Colter. Both who died in 1990:
