Summary
On this date in 1956, The Brunswick Fire Company paid Walter S. Rice $52.94 for his services as a paid driver. Walter lived in the fire hall, now Smoketown Brewing Station, and slept in a small room right off the engine bay. There are some that say Mr. Rice never left the fire hall but that story is for another day.
