Summary
Brunswick Street West End houses built by the B&O railroad. The railroad made Brunswick a company town as the B&O built houses, businesses and donated land for many of the town's churches to serve townspeople. Much of the old west end was originally the farm of William Waltman Wenner, who sold a large plot to the B&O on which to build.
Mary Jo Brown: The B&O also built the houses on New York Hill. They were built by the New York Construction Company. B&O also built the old City Park Bldg for the RR to use for picnics, etc.
