In addition to the canal boat, the tow path and the men in the foreground, we see the old mill, which in those days, was likely run by B.P. Crampton & Co. Prior to that, it was known as Jordan, Crampton & Co. after the widow of C.F. Wenner sold her interest following her husband's death in 1882.
