Summary

3 generations of the Cage family worked on the railroad. Harvey Leslie "Pete" Cage (1887-1965) was the 1st generation:

A B & O Engineer, he worked from the turn of the century until he was in his 30's. Sadly, he was forced to retire early because a doctor gave him the wrong medication for his eyes which affected his vision. After that, he could no longer operate a train.
