Weverton Lock 31 - Mile 58 on the C & O Canal Towpath
Casper W. Weaver attempted to establish an industrial area here and harness the power from the Potomac River for manufacturing, much like what had been done at Harper's Ferry. He was never able to attract enough businesses to the area. This is all that's left.
