Distinguished Citizen 1986: 100 Years of Memories: Distinguished Citizen Rev Charles Preston Wiles V, born 1918. Distinguished Citizen Honor 1986. The Very Reverend Preston Wiles, currently (in 1990) the dean of St. Matthews Episcopal Cathedral in Dallas, Texas, has had a notable career in the Protestant Episcopal church, being instrumental in the revision of the Book of Common Prayer. He has taught on the college and postgraduate levels and has authored several books.
