Charles Walter Harbert is the only casualty of the Vietnam war who listed Brunswick as his hometown. He died from receiving mortal wounds and continued to return fire and throw grenades even after wounded. He was awarded the bronze star with V device posthumously. I have had the honor of reading his name twice at the Vietnam War Memorial and do my best to make sure he is remembered and honored
