Summary

This photo is from the 1991 Yearbook and show the members of the BHS Chorus. The Chorus often performed at such school events as the "B" Awards assembly, the Winter Concert, Graduation, and other popular school events. Outside of school the Chorus performed at the Homewood Nursing Home and did Christmas caroling at the Frederick Town and FSK Malls. Chorus gave students the opportunity to learn and appreciate more advanced music through participation and performance. The purpose of the Chorus at the high school level is to develop the musical skills to appreciate and perform various styles of choral music. Some of these skills include developing good quality vocal sound on correct pitch, caring for their voice as a musical instrument, and work together with others to produce a quality group performance.
