Summary

Andy Williams Derailment crew and equipment

Ray Soderberg I agree with Andy. Note the damaged handrails on turntable and the control shed was knocked into the pit.

Wayne Drozynski Old guy..as in the old guys before me...story: Crews turned their own yard engines in West Yard WTCO. Apparently a conductor (possibly impaired) lined the table for the space between two tracks. The engineer (possibly...) pulled off into the ballast and hit a catenary pole. At the hearing they asked him "Didn't you notice the cat pole in the middle of the track?" and he answered, "Why would I be looking for a cat pole in the middle of the track?"

Andy St John Looks like the turntable was misaligned and the engine derailed.

Rosalie Webber That is big lizz

Krista Kay Webber-Fox My Daddy Morgan R. Webber use to run Big Lizzy at one point~ That looks like him in the crane he loved the B&O rail road
