Summary

This early 20th Century photo shows Harry Hickman's Lunch Market in Pt of Rocks. For background, Rick Bowers tells us: "My father's mother was Lillie May Hickman from Pt of Rocks. Her siblings included Harry and Sidney Hickman, who ran a lunch business in Pt of Rocks. Their store is next to a tower where I think granddad Bowers was a telegrapher. According to my father, the brothers had large aprons with lots of pockets and when a passenger train stopped, they hopped on and sold sandwiches and desserts. Apparently, they were pretty successful."
