The Hawaiian was the place to go on old 340 for not only Brunswick people, but anyone from the local area travelling home from the Charlestown races or just wanting a fun night out.
Food, music & dancing was always on tap every Saturday night. Woody Free's Orchestra was a staple.
(From the 1971 BHS Railroader Yearbook)
