Our representative to the Maryland House of Delegates and Brunswick native, Joe Payne, stands at the WFMD mic for the dedication of the Potomac River Bridge in August, 1955. Behind him on the podium were then Governor Theodore R. McKeldin and former Governor W. Preston Lane. These gentlemen were all instrumental in getting the bridge built.
