Summary

The City of Brunswick would like to welcome our newest staff member, Julie Martorana. Julie joins City Hall as the Economic Development Coordinator on September 20, 2021. Julie will be working on economic development initiatives throughout the entire City, as well as working on the City’s grants program. Julie brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this position. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with more than 35 years of experience in higher education in the areas of Information Technology and Compliance and Ethics. For the past 10 years, Julie has been an adjunct professor at Montgomery College, teaching Business, Management and Computer Applications. She has also taught Project Management and Communications at Hagerstown Community College. Julie’s experience extends into the Brunswick community as well. She has been a member of Brunswick Main Street for the past six years and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the past four years. Her passion for our community also led her to serve as a volunteer on the City of Brunswick’s Ethics Commission and the Economic Development Commission. Please join us in welcoming Julie!
