Leonard F. Brooks, 91, of Brunswick, MD passed away December 26, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born June 16, 1927 in Brunswick to the late Eugene H. and Mattie L. (King) Brooks, Leonard was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII, worked for the railroad, and was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Eagles Club and Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Lou (Moyers) Brooks, sister Frances Eileen Goetz and her husband, Floyd, nephew Dennis Goetz and his wife, Robin, and niece Traci Maust. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 11:00 am in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick. Rev. William Carpenter will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brunswick Ambulance and Rescue Service or Park Heights Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to John T. Williams Funeral Home
